Ex-Ash Tree

The arborists took the Ash tree trunk down to about 5m.  It's safe at that height and will slow decay whilst providing homes and food for birds and beetles.  They will be back to split the logs and store them in our wood shed.  Ash dries quite quickly and will be ready to burn by November 2022.

The hare in the extra was working her way along the flower bed nibbling everything, including the weeds, to see what she liked.
