Leaf it

The other week, one of the lads (the only one in the family with an Advanced Higher in Biology) pointed to the sycamore trees and said it was a shame we no longer got leaves on them.

In his defence, a) the trees were only budding then, b) the pear and plum trees were completely covered in blossom and leaves, and c) he was just making conversation.

Might have to point out all the leaves to him though.
