St. James's Park: Ross'sling Swimming

Sweeter a sight in large
Extras:
Ross'sling grazing
White-cheeked pintail
Greylag family flotilla
Gaping maned duck
Posing teal

Im and I braved a trip into town to see whether we could see the Ross'sling at St. James's Park, and we found her straight away! She wasn't with her parents, but was pottering around by herself at the Buckingham Palace end of the lake.
It was uplifting to spend some time with her in the morning sunshine, to see the waterfowl up close (many familiar faces, and some new ones), and to be able to go back there after such a long hiatus.

Today's whole session is here (or right from Ross'sling)
