Melt water

The first thing I noticed when walking out of the house this morning was the sound of the river. All the rain over the last 36 hours has swollen the flow and the river has begun to roar. The rest of the day was slow paced. We had been invited out to lunch and didn’t return until around 6 pm. I shall now read some more plot summaries in readiness for the final part of Line of Duty. I need the preparation to keep on top of the plot twists and turns.
