Flowering climber

We sheltered from the rain this morning under a beautiful flowering climbing plant that was growing over the trellis above us in Connaught Gardens, Sidmouth.  Its flowers are very small with a lovely scent but I am not sure what they are, see extras for more views of them.  We wandered through The Byes where we had our lunch and I took another the opportunity to look at the very large Foxglove tree in the grounds of a nearby hotel.  Its very impressive but the flowers don't lend themselves to good photos as they have dried brown edges.  The full tree is included in extras to.  Fortunately the rain didn't last long, it had been forecast as a sunny day but we left after lunch as some more dark clouds appeared overhead.  It doesn't appear we have had any rain at home though.

We are all looking forward to the last episode of Line of Duty tonight which seems to be one of the most popular series this year.
