Wings - Candlemaker Row

Morning run through the Grassmarket and up Candlemaker Row past the Wings mural.   By the artist Shona Hardie, it's called "Never Ordinary" and was commissioned by Paramount Pictures to promote the Elton John biopic movie 'Rocketman'.  Shona also did the Meadows mural I blipped on 13th January.  

Not surpringly Candlemaker Row was home to the Hall of the Incorporation of Candlemakers and had candle shops too.  The buildings on the street date from the early 18th century.  

No rain at all when I was out for my run but as forecast it came down heavily at lunchtime and has stayed on for the rest of the day.  Monday bowls was rescheduled to Wednesday when the sun should be out!
