100% Precipitation

Having had a lovely spell of sunny weather we always knew it would come to an end eventually. The forecast for today was 80% precipitation up till mid day, and 100% chance of precipitation thereafter. I interpret that as being no percent chance of no precipitation this afternoon. Which is in fact how it turned out. I won't wax lyrical about the drama of the clouds or the ferocity of the wind. Suffice it to say, it has been wet. Very wet.
I do like statistics. Did you know, that one out of every two people actually represent 50% of the population? How amazing is that?
