Yellow

Today has been a super autumn day in Taupo.  This morning we did a walk around the Botanical Reserve  which is mostly native planting but the exotic trees were stunning in the sunshine.  The extra is Mt Tauhara a dormant lava dome volcano.  It is a landmark in Taupo and as I grew up in this town  I wanted to include it.  My childhood home is no longer there.  it is a carpark.
