View from above

A brief glance may trick a viewer into thinking this is a view from a plane but sadly it’s not that adventurous, it’s a very odd mixture of build- up including algae (I think) at a set of local canal locks.

I’m due to have my second Pfeizer jab tomorrow- will be glad to get that sorted.

I spent the day in a secondary school today and it was the first time that I’ve seen everyone wearing masks. Such a stark visual milestone. I’ve noticed people adjusting their masks much less now. It feels strange that we may soon be able to travel again and hug people.

MrH is off to Ireland for a month for work. Due to Brexit there are lots of foods he cannot take into the country and the guidance suggests he can only stay at his loggings (where no food is available). He can travel to his place of work as he is an ‘essential’ worker but because of COVID he is banned from the canteen. He’s taking dried pasta (which he dislikes), some bread to freeze and a few other bits and bobs to see him through the first two weeks when he has to isolate. He is allowed to order take away food apparently but they won’t deliver to his lodgings. . . Could be interesting
