Majestic no longer

I don't know why, but this tree was seriously depleted last week.  We heard the chainsaw and hoped that none of the screen of trees at the top of the hill was being felled.

This tree wasn't felled, but it looks lonely and limbless.  A bit like a sculpture, perhaps.
