Mirabelle Blossom

As promised, the blossom is here. Otherwise, a somewhat slow start, this morning. However, I managed to bake some potatoes and light the fires while D was getting her second jab. She returned with various tins of cod roe, anchovies, olives and piquant mussels from the Lithuanian-centric booze shop [normally for cross border trade] with wine to boot. Some of the labels aren't even in Polish, never mind English, so that introduces an element of surprise. We should really get moving with the vegetables in the garden but I am reassured that it has been so inclement that the early birds won't be rewarded this year.
