Sitting

This little humming bird is not wasting energy on hovering. In the extra, an osprey (you'll probably just have to take my word for it), also just sitting. Though I did think I saw the other one fly away while I was still battling the 20 knot headwinds on my bike to get as close as I can. They really did choose the least accessible pylon.  The north bay ospreys, who have a web cam, have just hatched their chicks in the last few days.
