Maud: Are you touching my bottom?

aprecious: Not in a weird way.

Pause, Maud raises her eyebrows.

Maud: Why?

aprecious: I was resting my iPhone on it.

Maud: You were talking from my bottom?

arecious: No. Although I have occasionally been accused of talking out of mine.

Pause, Maud raises her eyebrows as if to say, "Occasionally?"

Maud: So, what were you doing to my bottom?

aprecious: I was using you as a tripod.

Pause, Maud raises her eyebrows.

Maud: And you say I'm weird?


Maud does have the most expressive eyebrows.

This morning I will be beginning my preparation for that which cannot be named.
