Cuckoo

I think cuckoos are like buses - you wait around in vain then two come along at once which is all very well but they are very flighty. At least you can listen for them.

My two chased each other around over quite a large area but it was only driving by in the car that I spotted it on a post though then had to do a frantic uey and park in the middle of a country lane, quietly sidling into position.  I was near enough to get a shot but it was not happy. It was early doors so no traffic at all thankfully as one car would have been completely scuppered my efforts.. 

I was really chuffed to see them especially as it was totally unexpected too. I will return!!
