Huge family

We have been clearing the collection of things that we needed to take to the recycling depo today. After we had unloaded the car we decided to drive home via our sons place and say hi to the girls.

Whilst there Izzy spotted a duck with ducklings in the garden. They were swimming in a pool made by the hose pipe. The ducklings were newly hatched and needed a safe place and so we helped to collect them all together and get them in a nursery run. This is the point at which we got them all to safety. Their mother joined them a few moments later. She has her hands full with 13 ducklings!
