An Unusual Fruit….

This is the fruit of our Clerodendrum trichotomum tree. Otherwise known as “Harlequin Glorybower”. I love this tree even though it is considered to be an undesirable pest. It grows from suckers very readily. The flowers are very fragrant in the spring and summer. We’ve had a very stressful day. Keith had a fall in the kitchen this morning…. Luckily nothing broken. Our lovely neighbours came over to help and Keith spent most of the day in hospital. We are home now and taking life very cautiously.
