Staying Warm

I had a quick walk up the garden path to see if there was anything worth taking a picture of, but I was frozen by the time I reached the end, so I decided that an indoor picture was the answer.

This is our kitchen window. I bought the daffodils for my wife, yesterday. As our house is upside down and the kitchen and living rooms are upstairs, we look out onto the top of the laurels which separate us from next door (and grow at a huge rate of knots), behind which are the roofs and chimneys of other houses in the village and beyond that, Cornwall, but you can't see it because it is so cloudy.

Looking over the roofs, we get some amazing skies as the sun sets. Great idea, living upstairs.
