Farm gate

One of the really nice things about winter here is fresh local custard apples. We buy them from a nearby farmer, who sells them from this serve-yourself stall at his front gate. The season started a couple of weeks ago, and will run until August. We bought a bag of 6 fruit today for $5. The tricky part of it is, they will all ripen together in 4 days time and only last for 3 days. Too many custard apples is never enough!
