Buds

Spotted the colours in these buds, which I presume are Spruce, maybe Sitka.
They start off brown, then turn a bright lime green, then fluff up into individual digits, then elongate, turn dark green, and Spruce needles.
I didn't realise that's how needles develop on the tree.
