Bright and beautiful but watch for thorns!

Gorse is such an interesting plant, as it has such sharp thorns but the most beautiful flowers. When I lived in New Zealand it was everywhere - getting poked and scratched by gorse crawling around the wild growth behind our house was a staple of my Kiwi childhood.

My essay questions for IR came out today and I've already got one of the two essays finished. I didn't know how this week would go as I've got quite a few shifts for work, but it seems that I should get them in well before the deadline on Monday. Crazy to think that I'm only a week away from being done with uni for the year - can't wait for the summer holidays!
