Marr College, Troon

What a day! A bright start, then a snow flurry; sunny again then some real snow, which melted away quite quickly. Plans for a walk to a local eatery for lunch were curtailed by blackening skies and another heavy shower. Later, tempted out by bright sunshine again, we did manage a different route which took us alongside one of the local golf courses (where there were people actually playing golf!) and then passing Marr College. Was surprised to see few photos of this prestigious edifice on blip and pleased to note none from this perspective. This shot has been processed to give it a bit more contrast.

We didn't escape getting caught out in the snow but got home in time to avoid a really heavy (for us) downfall, which is still lying as it gets dark. Heavy frost is forecast for tonight!
