Are we there yet?


Flock? Gaggle? Drone? Squadron? of Cormorants

Never realised Cormorants flew together like this, although to be fair I’d never really thought about it before. I suppose I’m just as surprised seeing them here as I generally associate cormorants with aiding Asian fishermen. The last time I can recall seeing Cormorants was in 2014 during my trip to Antarctica. There the Blue eyed shag aka Antarctic cormorant aka Imperial Shag aka Imperial Cormorant variant was a very common sight. (See extra photo)

Lots of post processing to get this image in a usable state and I’m not that happy with the outcome, but if you saw the original I probably shouldn’t complain.
