Pruned ...!

This is the maple which was pruned on Friday! It looks a bit forlorn and I'm sure it will make some new growth when it comes into leaf in the next couple of months.

We've had a strange day today! MrD was called in to work mid-morning, he sorted out the problem and was home shortly after lunch! I've been sharing my time between trying to make some progress with the VHS conversion kit (software now installed, screen resolution ok bit nothing being captured) and slow cooking a shoulder of lamb for MrD's dinner.

The weather is wintry, howling gale, bitterly cold wind and little flurries of s ow this morning. Please can we have our Spring back?
