Pebble Ridge retreat.

Several things to sort out, and a wet afteroon, so these are just a couple of snaps from a short morning bike ride.
Geologists will immediately recognise the main as a fine example of longshore drift, with the ridge of rounded cobbles having been  formed during the uper carboniferous period (a mere 300 million years or so ago.)
The ridge is smaller and weaker than it once was, and eventually it will exponentially diminish to be replaced by salt marshes and streams.
Tomorrow is double art lesson so bring your brushes.
Extra: Obligatory cute shot.
In the morning, we're heading up north to 'bandit' country. I know there's no wi fi so comments will, unfortunately, be sparse.
