Crossing the Castle Field

The Castle Field is looking beautiful at the moment as it's filled with buttercups and daisies.  

The bumpy bits are the dry part of the castle moat (although it's not dry when the field floods).  There's a path through the field which leads from one part of the village to the other which saves going around the road.  As you can imagine, it's very well used.
