Keswick Alhambra cinema, restoration & alterations

The Keswick Alhambra Cinema was built in 1913 and has been in continuous use for over 100 years. It, like every other cinema, has been closed for the past year. During which time it is undergoing much restoration and alteration. It is having a small second screen theatre added to the rear of the stalls, leaving the front of the stalls and the balcony in the main screen theatre.

I walked past it today and got talking to a guy there, who purchased a share of the Cinema a couple of years ago. He is supervising all the work, and gave me a full guided tour. I asked if he'd mind me photographing, and I seem to now be documenting the rest of the works!
