Guess where?

More rain! Though our original intention was to visit Glencoe & Glen Orchy today the continuous rain did rather put us off - so we headed to where the sky looked a little less heavy - Fort Augustus, on the Caledonian canal on the edge of Loch Ness. We did manage a walk along the towpath before it rained too hard. Lunched in a lovely pub, and then walked to the edge of Loch Ness, where the monster made a special appearance for us and happily posed for a photo (and signed the model release form).

The weather looks set wet tomorrow as well, so we're going to head home - as Saturday looks glorious in the Lakes, and we'd sooner have a good walk than spend the day driving home!
