Southern Necropolis

An early start this morning to get S through to Glasgow for 8 o’clock. Made it with minutes to spare, celebrated with a Costa coffee (really just wanted to use their loo), then took a stroll around the Southern Necropolis which I have to admit was a first. I was surprised how run down it was but I don’t suppose the residents mind, the beech tree avenue is spectacular and the multi-storey flats across the street are a definite contrast.
Met up with McJax later on to pass on some well chitted seed-spuds, have a cappuccino in a cardboard cup and generally shoot the breeze until the breeze got a bit chilly. Another social interaction (they’re coming thick and fast) and great to catch up!
