Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Not oot yet!

Hope nobody has cast any clouts yet, the may is only in bud!
It was another wet day today and having filled us into a sense of false security over the last few days, it was cold too! Still at least I didn't have to water the Nematodes in.
It's Ascension Day today, one of the bigger church festivals so we had two services, I made it to the morning one as we had a busy day today. I came back and we went out more or less immediately, to the Garden Bistro at Saughton Rose Garden with Colin's mum, sister and cousin. I'd booked a table by a heater, but we were glad we'd wrapped up well. The extra has Colin and his mum, she's looking good for 98!
What was left of the afternoon I spent getting some paperwork done and generally catching up a bit. Still lots to do though.
Jon brought the girls up for another sleep over at 7pm, Isobel was absolutely captivated by a Rick Stein programme about Bologna. We only had it on for about 5 minutes but she was fascinated. She even went to the sitting room and brought herself a chair to sit in so she could concentrate. Once they were off to bed we settled down to the penultimate Line of Duty, ah well, soon we'll be on a hunt for the next series to watch.
Keep safe and well folks, Ali and I have booked ourselves a hug at 00:01 on Monday morning. Actually, we aren't very good at late nights so it will probably be in the afternoon. We'll have masks on too - the spikes in Glasgow and Moray are rather worrying. Please be careful everyone and stay safe
