Wound up in Wexford

Always something new to surprise us

We had neither of us noticed these tiny little flowers on the Prunus serrula in previous years.  Not very abundant, but so delicate.  There seems to always be something in the garden that is new or different - luckily.

I thought I had already blipped a photo of the lovely bark on this tree, but can't track it down - so that might be a blip for sometime soon.

W had yet another long day in the garden, planting out various veggie and salad plants.  And just when he thought he had finished, I checked the post box to find we had taken delivery of 144 "miniplugs" of annuals, a bargain from one of the garden catalogues.  So his day was capped off by transplanting all these into larger pots and watering them.

After a trip out to buy veggies and some dressed crab which we have enjoyed with a salad for our dinner this evening, I did some weeding, and planted the two recently purchased sempervivum into the boulder bed.
