Beach walk

A mild day ( ie no wind) so we went down to the beach. Very overcast to the east and misty across the bay. Only one other person on the beach.. with 2 cameras on tripod. The view in front was very limited. I assume he had some fancy filters or was waiting for something specific ( eg Isle of Man Ferry)

The long straight lines of white shells were all broken up so the sea must have been rough in the last high tide but today everything was very tranquil.  We walked to the usual spot and timed it right as the tide was coming in as we turned back. Photo is of M pondering how quickly the sea was flowing in ( it can come in very quickly) .  Luckily it reaches the land sideways so we had  plenty of beach to walk along. Nice to take our time. 

Back home and it didnt rain. Pottered around the garden. Then Fletch gave me ' The look' for his 2nd walk.. earlier than usual but the sun was out and it felt quite warm so we went out for longer than normal.  The sky was purple over to the east.. looked very dramatic with the golden gorse in front.. but it didnt rain on us.
