Down under the winter cometh

These are my old friends which accompany me on my walks in winter. They have been resting in the warmer months but today it was time for them to come out. Today's temperature ranged from 1 to 10 degrees C. With the strong winds it felt much colder. Tomorrow the range will be -1 to 11 degrees.

The scarf and beanie, which have been with me for many years, are made from merino and possum wool. They are lovely and light and very warm.
