Many thanks for the response to yesterday's blip. Another early one today, taken through the car window before I went into Tesco. Final preparations (window cleaning) before re-opening on Monday.  The Golden Rule was getting the same attention. 

The weather has been MUCH better than forecast. We had planned a second attempt at a half way meet up in Hawes with J, J and the little ones but decided yesterday to postpone again as the forecast was still damp and cool, having been for heavy rain the day before. 

My parcel delivery yesterday didn't arrive and at 6.04 this morning a text message came from DPD ....... oops, sorry we missed you ...... blah, blah, blah ...... please click here to rearrange delivery.
