First time back

We ventured to church for Mass this evening, our first since March last year, at St John's in Beaminster.  It was quite delightful: we prefer a small congregation anyway, and the vigil Mass on a Saturday is ideal.  There were some changes because of COVID, but it was familiar and a relief to be back.

There was a stud cross under the altar which I thought would make a good Blip; I haven't quite got it lined up, but oh well  . . .

The Extra is a depiction of the Ascension of Our Lord.  It's a bit "fluffy cloud" in its concept, but how else would you do it, unless you were a classical painter?
