Project 365 day 135: Bedraggled

My planned wildflower walk was rained off again today, and by late afternoon I was casting around for an indoor photo, but around teatime, after a noisy thunderstorm, a patch of bright sun broke through the clouds, creating dramatic light over the Downs. By the time I had put my shoes on and replaced the battery in the camera, the sun had almost disappeared, obscured by a huge cloud, and fine rain was falling again, but our "lawn" is conveniently full of wild flowers. I photographed bugle, buttercups and nettles, but I think this bedraggled dandelion clock is my favourite.
