Kappa's feathers are very wood-grainy but for her spectacular iridescent specula... I was torn between this and 'Ida under the steps' (they love poking around under there), but it hasn't been Kappa for a while.

Mum and I sorted out the duckules (well, the Eglu/run) in the morning before the rain, but my early afternoon photosession was very soggy... The duckules love the rain (more water is always a good thing), and the droplets certainly decorate them nicely.
