Sunday: Bouncing Bluetit ...

... sounds like something Batman would say ... BUT ... when I was taking this photo on my phone thought there was a speck of soil on the screen until I magnified the image ... I was taking a photo of the coastguard helicopter but it was too far away - glad I didn’t delete!
Another beautiful start to the day but it soon turned cloudy then we had a few torrential showers of rain, very mild though. 
Then a dry afternoon and I went to check on all the recent sown seeds. Seeds germinating: courgette, cucumber and violet cauliflower on bedroom windowsill; in the greenhouse - American land cress, lambs lettuce, green and purple dwarf french beans ...
Emptied rainwater from all the trays of seedlings transplanted yesterday. There's space in a corner of the planter with lettuce seedlings, so decided to sprinkle more mixed lettuce seeds and radish seeds between them, can't have too many salads!
The garlic in pots were flagging when it was so dry a couple of weeks ago https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2827647772377747199 but looks like they’re perking up now ...
