Sweet Promise in Beadnell

To Wooler farmers' market this morning. Had a nice chat with the guy on the plant stall, managed to resist the cakes and pastries, avoided the fruit cider (mango and rhubarb - I don't think so!), and returned home with some free-range organic pork chops and two mugs from the 'hedgehog rescue' stall.

In the afternoon a trip to Beadnell. Said hello to R and H who live on the seafront there, then strolled around the harbour before walking along the sand as far as Long Nanny and back. Chilly and grey, there were just a few people on the beach, mostly dog walkers. Back to the van for hot coffee and chocolate biscuits whilst watching waves crash against the rocks - perfect!
A Blip of the harbour, where 'Sweet Promise' provided a welcome splash of colour against the grey sky and steely grey sea.

Blipfoto tells me that this is photo 3000! Who'd have thought it?! I was surprised to last a year...
Anyway, many thanks to those who drop in to my journal - it's quite mundane at times, I know - and thank you for the stars and hearts, all much appreciated, and for your inspiration. You keep me going! Time on Blip each day is limited, so apologies for lack of comments and interaction, though I love looking at your Blips. Special thanks, of course, to the wonderful Blipfoto team who keep the site running.
