Evening light

A flurry of activity after yesterday's lethargy!

Two loads of washing done, and a few household chores sorted. The last of the old wallpaper scraped off the walls in the soon-to-be cupboard. Trailing geranium plug-plants re-potted, in the hope that they'll flourish - about half of them look to have had a very rough journey. Fifteen kilometres on the exercise bike. Then a TV dinner, while MrM and I watched Leicester City win the FA Cup.

After that, MrM suggested a walk, as the weather had cleared and neither of us had set foot outside the gate all day. So just after 8.00pm we set off on the Humbleton round. A glorious evening to be out - bird song, the heady scent of gorse flowers, hundreds  of rabbits, hares in the fields, buzzards, kestrels, bats, several deer, two barn owls...
