Rice

It turned into a fairly busy Monday, one way or another. 

This activity was all very routine and mundane, however. 

The only unusual part was going into my GP practice for the first time in almost 2 years. Another needle - this time taking blood for my annual check on hypertension and cholesterol. The nurse found a vein and got some blood from it, so I guess “routine and mundane” applies there too. 

She expects to have the results on Wednesday, and that is much quicker than in the past. 

Needless to say, a routine and mundane Blip is called for in the circumstances. Aye, dinner. One of my favourite comfort foods - home made fried rice.
