Cyclorama Point

See LARGE.

I have shot Cyclorama Point (occasionally referred to as "The Dogface") before but not from this angle. Today I am standing on Narrow Neck Ridge which separates the Jamison and Megalong Valleys, here in the Blue Mountains.

In the early 1930s a truly massive section of rock simply slid off the escarpment into the valley one night, leaving this vast sheer cliff. Over eighty years later, it still looks as if it happened last week.
