Short Trip West

We've driven down to Cornwall for a few days to try out the functions in our van. Nothing is straightforward of course!

The 100 mile journey down the A30 was very wet, monsoon like, but as we approached St Ives Bay, the sun came out.

I won't bore you with the details of the issues we encountered filling the van with fresh water but only mention that, instead of taking 5 minutes, it took 4+ hours, several phone calls and the assistance of some very nice fellow campers. We got there in the end.

With the sun still shining we headed to the coast path for a walk to the lighthouse and back, a bracing 5miles overlooking St Ives bay (main).
Jorgie was delighted by her first ice cream of the year. 
Well, we are on holiday!
