First thing it was really sunny and hot, so I put the washing out and went into the city centre for the first time since last summer.

The loose dried fruit and nuts place was closed, I hope they haven't gone bust, but I managed to spend my £5 off voucher in M&S by getting a pair of pants for £1!  Also popped into Sainsbury's and got a lunchbox as my old one has lost a snap closure. I walked straight past the wine with no bother at all. Tonight will be the 8th consecutive evening without drinking and my sleep is much better!

The postman delivered an invitation to register for the Covid-19 Infection Survey so I did, but let's see how easy they find it contacting me to arrange a visit.
