I Can See A Rainbow

A very successful session leading some map & compass work with Hertford Rangers tonight. 10 minutes in we had a flash of lightning and a roll of thunder, (eek), followed a few minutes later by hail. We sheltered in a hollow and 10 minutes after that we walked out into this rainbow. Wonderful. The girls were quiet, a little shy, but keen to learn and they all enjoyed it. 5 of the 7 want to do DofE so that’s a pretty good hit rate.

Food Hub went well this morning too (and we stayed dry) and was followed by a celebratory lunch as we’ve now been encouraging people to rescue food and reduce waste for 3 months.
