Dogs and the sea

A very late start to the day but an exhilarating walk along the beach soon blew the cobwebs away. Dog watching is proving a very amusing pastime, although the Saluki we met yesterday, and who seemed to enjoy being fondled, didn’t want to know today. A very elegant, calm and aloof dog. Even the owners weren’t sure whether it liked them.

The afternoon was spent at Arlington Court admiring the Azalias with an old friend of JJ’s.

More extras added. Not sure what we’ll do tomorrow, but if the weather looks dire, as forecast, we may make a dash for home.
