All at Sea

We met Colin this morning and went over to Amelia's Cafe for lunch.  I had a very nice salmon tagliatelle from their gastro menu, Ann had the roasted cauliflower.  I must say I'm very impressed with the quality of the food served.  After lunch we went to the bike shop in the centre of Dawlish Warren where they also run a cafe and had a nice chat and cup of coffee.

After dropping Colin off at home we went for a walk through the Nature Reserve before heading back to the apartment  for tea.

It has been a good day weather-wise; in fact probably the only good day of the week with gales and more rain forecast.  So this evening we took a drive down to Teignmouth to park up at the harbour car park and watch the sea for a while.  There are four large cruise ships moored out of Teignmouth,  stranded there since the start of the pandemic.   The news is that they will be leaving soon, apparently the locals will be sorry to see them go as they have become part of the scenery.

The theme for today's Wide Wednesday hosted by BobsBlips is 'angles'.  Well there's plenty of angles in this picture I took from the harbour wall.
