Scottish Bluebells

These are by the side of the canal. I'm never sure if they are truly wild bluebells. Earlier this season, my family football club (no we don't own them) Queen's Park played a team I had never heard of called Dundonald  Bluebell in an early round of the Scottish Cup. They were quite resitant and took us to extra time. In what is called 'Junior Football,' in Scotland, there have been many clubs with floral related names - Linlithgow Rose Dundee Violet, Crossgate Primrose, and I suppose, most famously, Glenbuck Cherrypickers, from the Ayrshire mining village that Bill Shankly came from. (He only appeard for them once.) And what does all this prove? Nothing much.
