Roman bottle glass

A wet windy day, and after a poor nights sleep, I am tired. What can I show you, I thought. I've blipped this once before, a long time ago. It was found by my daughter at the Roman fort of Vindolanda, by Hadrian's Wall. There were people digging and we asked a man if they wanted it. 'You just keep it,' said the bloke. I have ended up keeping it safe. I love the colour and the fact that  you can see it's from a quart bottle, with squarish sides. There are air bubbles in it which fascinates me too. In the extra shot, you can see where the glass does a 90 degree turn.
