Flower Friday: Exochorda Racemosa

I knew I'd blipped this shrub last year, and when I checked I found it was on 17th April. Our book says that the blooms only last a week or so, but in our experience they last about a month - it's actually been in bloom for at least a couple of weeks already, but it was certainly not in flower in mid April this year, presumably as the weather hasn't been so warm. Anyway it's looking lovely at the moment, covered in these small white flowers.

I tried to show it slightly differently from last year and experimented with a variety of techniques: I decided that this shot, taken quite close up with the fisheye lens, showed it best.

Many thanks to our FF host, BikerBear.
