Hand painted

It is not often that our huge fruit bowl is empty, but before N went shopping this morning there was not one piece of fruit left. Now we have a big bunch of bananas to keep up our potassium for the week, and a huge pawpaw, just because we like them. Lots of other fruits will keep us going for the week.
The beautiful fruit bowl was painted by my friend H who used to live in South Africa. This was a gift to us when we visited them there one Christmas. It was quite heavy in our air baggage on the way home!
